Sealed bids will be received by the Planning & Development Department for the Johnson County Park and Recreation District (JCPRD) at the JCPRD Administration Building located at 7900 Renner Road, Shawnee Mission, Kansas, 66219 until 2:00 PM CDT on October 31, 2023 for Tomahawk Hills Golf Course Irrigation Improvements.
Tomahawk Hills Golf Course (THGC) is located at 17501 Midland Drive, Shawnee, KS 66217.
This project includes installation of a new irrigation system on an existing golf course. The work will be phased to keep portions of the golf course open during construction activities. The Owner will be purchasing the sprinkler heads, valves, controllers, and pump station directly from the manufacturer for incorporation into the work.
A pre-bid meeting will be held October 19, 2023 @ 2:00 PM at the Tomahawk Hills Golf Course Clubhouse, 17501 Midland Drive, Shawnee, KS 66217. Attendance is mandatory for all bidders.
Plans and specifications may be downloaded from the Ionwave site. Questions may be submitted through the Ionwave site and clarifications and addenda will be issued through the ionwave site.

Answer The Start and Anticipated Completion dates, as well as the number of calendar days to complete are to be provided by the Contractor on the bid proposal form. The project will be constructed on a hole-by-hole basis (1 hole at a time) with the remaining golf holes still in operation for the duration of the project. This allows potential bidders to work this project into their existing schedules / workload and provide JCPRD the best possible pricing.
