How much rock does the base bid paving get and does it get geogrid? Is there a cross section available for the base bid and alternate 1?

Answer
|
Base bid gets the filter fabric, 9" of KDOT AB-1 and Tensar Geogrid. The cross section is shown on C14, less the underdrain. Same section is used for Alternate #1 excluding the underdrain. See Addendum 1 for revised drawings.
