The City of Independence, Kansas, is accepting bids for one new mobile, diesel-driven pump meeting or exceeding the attached specifications. A bid for a used unit would be considered, but documentation would be required.

Bids must be sent to the office of the City Clerk, 811 W. Laurel Street, Independence, Ks. 67301, on or before 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2022. Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope plainly marked on the outside “New Pump”. If bid is mailed, original envelope shall be enclosed in a separate envelope addressed to the City Clerk, also plainly marked on the outside as stated above. E-mail or fax bids will not be accepted. The apparent low bid will then be presented to the Independence City Commission at a 2022 regular meeting for their formal action.
