CENTRAL PARK SPORTS COMPLEX – GRASSING PACKAGE

Sealed proposals for the City of Independence, KS (Owner) for a Grassing Package (natural grass establishment) related to a park renovation project at the Central Park Sports Complex will be received at Independence, KS City Hall, 120 N. 6 ^th Street, Independence, Kansas 67301 until 2:00 p.m. local time, Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at which time and place the bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after the time stated above will be returned un-opened.

Project Description: The project includes, but is not limited to, placement and initial establishment (grow-in) of Bermuda sod, Bermuda seeding, Bermuda sprigging, and cool season turf areas.

All equipment, material and workmanship must be in accordance with the Bid Documents, Plans, Project Manual and Contract Documents on file with the City of Independence, KS at Independence, KS City Hall, 120 N. 6 ^th Street, Independence, Kansas 67301

Bidders may view complete sets of the Bid Documents, Plans, Project Manual, and Contract Documents at the address noted above. Copies of the plans and specifications can be seen or purchased for a non-refundable fee on-line at www.drexeltech.com in their eDistribution Plan Room. The Owner shall have the right to take such steps as deemed necessary to determine the ability of the Contractor to perform the work, and the Contractor shall furnish to the Owner such additional information and data for this purpose, as the Owner may request.

A voluntary Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the City Hall, 120 N. 6th St, Independence, KS 67301 on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. All interested contractors are strongly encouraged to attend.

All bidders shall visit the site prior to submitting bids. The owner reserves the right to waive any defects and informalities in Bids, to reject any or all Bids, to take any or all Bids under advisement, or to accept any Bid as may be deemed in its interest of meeting the standards of lowest responsible bid.
