ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Project: 2024 Mill and Overlay

Bids for the "2024 Mill and Overlay Project" for the City of Garden City, Kansas, will be received at the Utility Service Center (USC), 140 Harvest Street, P.O. Box 998, Garden City, Kansas, until Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 10:00 a.m At that time, the bids will be opened publicly and read aloud in the Large Conference Room.

The Project consists of the following:

2" Mill and Overlay on Campus Drive from Labrador to the bypass.

The City will not provide Temporary Traffic Control.

2” Mill and Overlay on Buffalo Jones from Bancroft to the Railroad tracks.

The City will not provide Temporary Traffic Control.

Alternative Bid- 7’ Edge Mill on each side of the street only and overlay entire street curb to curb- Campus Drive from Harding to Mary Street.

All bids shall be made on print forms, which may be obtained from the City's website, www.garden-city.org, at no charge. Printed copies can be picked up at the Utility Service Center, 140 Harvest Street, Garden City, Kansas.

Each bidder must withdraw their bid for at least thirty (30) days after the scheduled closing time once the bid is received. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and accept bids deemed in the public's best interest.
