SHR OPS and NCADC Paving Project

Sealed bids for Bid Request No. 2023-073 for Johnson County Sheriff Operations Building (SHR OPS) and New Century Adult Detention Center (NCADC) Paving Project shall be submitted electronically via IonWave at https://jocogov.ionwave.net until 2:00PM CT, February 2, 2024. At that time, all bids that have been duly received will be publicly opened and read aloud via Zoom Video Conferencing at:

You must be registered as a supplier in IonWave in order to submit a bid and are encouraged to do so at least two (2) business days prior to the bid opening.

Preliminary bid results will be published to IonWave within one (1) business day from the scheduled bid opening.

This bid includes the following Work:

Concrete and asphalt paving replacement for ADA compliance, as specified by the Owner/Engineer, including all materials, labor, equipment, supervision, and any and all other items necessary to complete the Work.

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00AM CT on January 23, 2024, at the Sheriff Operations Building located at 27747 W. 159th Street, New Century, Kansas 66031. Please gather in front of the bridge.

Questions must be submitted via IonWave no later than 5:00PM CT on January 26, 2024 , to allow adequate time to issue an addendum, if needed.

No bid may be withdrawn within a period of sixty ( 6 0) days from the date of the bid opening.

BID BOND: Bidders shall submit with their bid a bid bond issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Kansas in the amount of five percent (5.0%) of the total amount of their bid. Said guarantee shall be made payable to the Board of County Commissioners of Johnson County, Kansas.
