The intent of this Request for Information (RFI) is to solicit information about services to replace the current system for Johnson County Housing Authority home rehabilitation and repair project management software and to gain a better understanding of the marketplace, vendors, solution functionality and pricing structures.

Johnson County assists homeowners with rehabilitation needs of their owner-occupied homes. Health and safety, accessibility, curing local code citations, as well as providing repairs and limited accessibility modifications offered through the various programs. The Johnson County Housing Services Rehabilitation Specialists are responsible for creating written project specifications, project scope and calculating cost estimates for the contractor bidding process. There are approximately 50-100 projects per year.

Current challenges include:

• Limited functionality that causes manual/paper driven processes.

• Limited ability to link with other Johnson County systems of record.

• Disconnected workflows.

• Limitations of current system to store historical project information.

• Contains features that are no longer used.

Responses to this RFI may be used to obtain funding for a Request for Proposal to be issued on a later date.
