NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Manhattan, Kansas, at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 1101 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas, until 3:00 P.M., on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids received after said time will be returned to the bidder unopened. These bids will be for the furnishing of all labor and materials, and performing all the Work in accordance with the drawings and specifications for:

2023 Asphalt Maintenance Phase I

The project will include but is not limited to the following major categories of work:

1. MILLING (2” UNIFORM) 34,842 SY

2. 2” OVERLAY (HMA COMMERCIAL GRADE CLASS A 58-28 3,789 TONS

3. PAVEMENT MARKING (THERMOPLASTIC)(YELLOW)(4”) 5,760 LNFT

4. PAVEMENT MARKING (THERMOPLASTIC)(WHITE)(4”) 5,639 LNFT

TIME LIMIT: Completion by December 31, 2023
