| Description | The City of Shawnee, Kansas, Public Works Department is requesting design consultants to submit up to seven (7) separate proposals. The proposals shall be for Johnson County Stormwater Management Program (SMP) eligible Corrugated Metal Pipe (CMP) replacement projects. The proposals will provide engineering design, bidding and construction services for the 2024 CMP replacement projects. The 2024 SWU Pipe Repair projects are improvement projects where existing corrugated metal pipes (CMP) are in failure and replacements or rehabilitation will e fully funded by the City of Shawnee. The City would like to have the seven (7) projects surveyed, evaluated, hydraulic analysis, correction designs and bid documents completed by early spring 2024. It is anticipated that six (6) projects will be awarded no later than March 2024 for construction. The seventh project at the Johnson County Mid America Sports Complex would start after the 2024 Labor Day weekend to allow for completion of planned sports seasons. |
