REQUEST FOR BIDS

High Park Concrete Repairs

The City of Derby Public Works – Parks Division is requesting bids to install and repair sidewalks and sociated materials at High Park. Sealed bids are being accepted by the City of Derby, Kansas 67037 until 1:00 P.M., Friday, September 29, 2023 and then at said office will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The area is accessible by appointment by contacting 788-0301.

Minimum Specifications:

• 1848 SF of 6” sidewalk concrete replacement
• 1736 SF of 4” concrete sidewalk replacement
• 16 SF of 4” sidewalk with thickened edge at ramp
• All concrete to be reinforced with fiber mesh
• New concrete to be pinned to existing with 1/2” rebar 18” in length minimum every 2’
• Removal of existing concrete and site restoration

The bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the City Clerk of the City of Derby, Kansas. Each sealed envelope containing a bid must be plainly marked on the outside of the envelope as “High Park Concrete Repairs” and sent to the City Clerk, 611 N Mulberry, Derby, KS 67037.

Bids must be good for a period of ninety (90) days.

The City of Derby with or without cause may reject any or all bids.
