REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
City Attorney
The City of Dodge City (the “City”) is seeking legal services including the position of City Attorney.
This contracted position is appointed by the City Commission. Dodge City has a Commission-
Manager form of government with a full-time City Manager. The City Attorney serves at the will
of the City Manager and is subject to reappointment. The initial contract term is expected to
be two years but is terminable at any time.
The person serving as City Attorney must be a licensed, practicing attorney in good standing in
the State of Kansas. The City Attorney may be associated with a firm, but one individual will be
identified for this position and will be accountable for the scope of services notwithstanding
delegation of responsibilities within a firm.
