Description:

The Riley County Public Works Department is accepting bids for approximately 1700 tons of CM-K 3/8 inch crushed/washed limestone aggregate to be used as cover material in asphalt sealing.  The pricing will include delivery of 1,700 tons total, to the Winkler and Leonardville storage yards as indicated in the specifications.

The crushed/washed limestone aggregate supplied for this bid shall be delivered by the supplier prior to June 1, 2024.

Bids will be received by the Board of County Commissioners at the office of the County Clerk, 110 Courthouse Plaza, Manhattan, Kansas until 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, 2024.  Bids will then be read aloud in the Commissioners' office at 10:10 a.m., Thursday, March 14, 2024.

Bids must be submitted on the form provided.   Plainly mark your fax cover sheet or bid envelope with the words "CRUSHED LIMESTONE CHIP BID 2024".
