Statement of Work
Tray Conveyor System
Leavenworth, KS

I. Introduction
The Leavenworth VAMC is seeking to replace an outdated Tray Conveyor System, Disposal system and Trough. The system is used to bring trays from the cafeteria to the Dishroom. This new system will be used to support the Leavenworth VAMC campus.
II. Delivery
All equipment will be delivered and installed NLT 30 days ARO and must be coordinated with the facility POC before delivery of items.

III. Requirements
A. New and Unused: All goods shall be new, unused, produced from current production
components, and shall be delivered and installed ready for use.
B. Shipping: All shipping and handling charges shall be paid by the contractor.

Attached below are the specs of the original conveyor that was installed in 1995. We asked that the vendor comes out and measures the area for bidding this project to ensure accuracy.

CLIN 2 Re-assembly

Requirements
Removal and disposal of existing conveyor system
Assembly of Bi-Line Conveyor System QTY: 1 EA

Mechanical assembly of all field joints and internal utilities reassembly
(AS PROVIDED)
Fully welded, ground and polished field joint (1) (AS PROVIDED)
Level equipment as necessary, making ready for final utility
connections, by trades
Attach and seal equipment to adjacent equipment and/or walls (AS
REQUIRED)
Install waste system (by others) underneath soiled tabling
Informal start up and testing of equipment with available utilities at
time of install
Supervision of re-assembly is included (Formal Start-up, testing of all equipment)

Warranty Service shall be performed at an additional cost if required.

VAMC to provide the following:
Conditions:
Facility is responsible for providing adequate building utilities. (See
item 4 for final connection of equipment to utilities.)
Facility is responsible for shut off and integrity of building isolation
valves for water, steam, and steam return.

Remove old unit (VA to keep the old disposal)
Install new conveyor, trough and disposal
Install disperser to conveyor
Assembly and interconnections
Make Final Connections to utilities
Start up and test for proper operation
VAMC to provide the following:
Allow access to onsite forklift, if required
Verify and supply all proper sized utilities, with valves and disconnects within 5 feet of terminating points on the same floor level
VAMC to keep the existing Salvajor disposal as a backup unit
